its simple digestive & marwari food prepared in line
with jain sentiments & theology.
Entering the place one has a feel of Rajasthan with all
use of Bamboos, mirrors, beautiful puppets and people
dressed up in folk attires." We
have kept a Rajasthani theme for the decor of our eating
place that gives an impact of sitting in a village and
having food, "said Sanjeev Jain , the
owner.
Almost all the food items are prepared in desi ghee &
refined oil to make it simple & digestive so far
possible. Note worthy is that the food here
is not at all oily , greasy and spicy and everything are
taken care of deligently.People have different type of
thali's to choose from according to one
taste and desire. |
" One can choose Maharaja, Bal or sada Thali" said
Sanjeev. The other specialty of the place is guhaar ki
fali, served along with the food. Also
masala butter milk is served before the main dish comes
in. And yes, all food items are prepared without onion &
garlic.
Another welcome aspect about this eating joint is its
family like atmosphere. People in their old age who are
generally missing at eating joint can
be seen here in large number as the food served here
suits all palate being less spicy. With the fall of
winters Bajra Roti & Gud is now into the delicacies
together with the seasons flavour.
